INFO

THROW makes 8 or 16 loops. each starts as a dry loop: a hit struck on sixteenths (a struck maker, a neo kick, a sample off the shelf) or your own sound laid round the loop. then its spectrum is worked on, frame by frame. RING strikes a bank of resonators on the key with it: a string, a pipe, a stiff bar, a bell or scrap, ringing on as long as the dice says. FREEZE holds moments of it still on the grid. STRETCH reads it slower than it plays. DELAY makes every frequency late by its own time, so a hit falls apart into a sweep. BACKWARDS plays every band backwards in blocks of its own. SHUFFLE deals bands of the spectrum to the wrong places and slides it up and down. CRUSH rounds the spectrum onto a coarse comb. STUTTER drops frames and plays them twice. CHAOS chains all of these, split in two at a crossover and run twice over itself, as deep as the mess.

every loop is whole bars at the tempo of the track and closes on itself: put it on loop in your daw. change the tempo, the key, the bars or the mess and the same pack is made again in place. MORE LIKE THIS keeps the loop first and fills the pack with close ones. KEEP puts its recipe on the shelf in this browser; PACK writes a recipe.txt with a link that makes each loop again.
