HIT is the same kick with nothing under it, UNDER is what stands under its hit alone, and WAV saves what you hear. the strip under the wave is the low end of the hit and of what is under it: white where they add up, red where they cancel. ALIGN moves what is under by a few milliseconds, or turns it over, so they add up. THROW on the deck is sixteen new ones, BACK brings the last sixteen back. liked a kick? MORE LIKE THIS throws sixteen close to it. PLAY runs the kick under your hand as a beat. the line over the sixteen names the layers of the kick, each by what it is cut from, and what is under its hit: tap a layer to hear it alone, tap UNDER to switch what is under.

SLICE takes a few milliseconds out of any sound you open: a take that stops short, a clipped edge, a click. NEXT BREAK walks the places where the sound breaks hardest, drag along the sound to move the cut, LENGTH is how much is cut, PITCH plays it faster and higher like a key on a sampler, and the dashed line behind the kick is the cut before it was pitched.

WRECK reinforces a kick without making it hum. PUNCH is the second octave of the kick in its own phase, FOLD bends it, CRUNCH drives the kick's own mids, KNOCK is metal on the hit, RUMBLE is driven low noise, CLICK is a few milliseconds of top, TAIL plays the low tail against itself. The numbers are measured on the kick: PUNCH should go up, HUM (what lasts after the hit) should stay at or under zero. WRECKED and ORIGINAL are heard at one loudness.
