one noise, four ways to use it. NOISE is the noise itself: HEIGHT slides it from air at 16 kHz down to 25 Hz, COLOUR tilts it from white to brown, RING narrows it onto a note of the key. RHYTHM is the same noise cut on the sixteenths: offbeats, a gallop, a broken line, rolls, or three, five or seven hits spread even over the bar.
RUMBLE comes two ways. shifted: dirty noise from the mids slid down into the sub by a frequency shifter, so it keeps its grain, held between the kicks, two or three layers of it on different steps for a groove, then a lowpass, drive and an echo. classic: a tuned thump on every beat into a long reverb, darkened and driven. SUB is noise rung on the lowest note of the key over 26 Hz: at WIDTH 0 almost a sine, wider it rumbles. rumble and sub duck under a kick on every beat, PUMP says how deep.
the key and the tempo are the track's: the other instruments of the family read them too. the loop closes on itself at 1, 2 or 4 bars. + KICK puts the NEO kick over it to hear the room it leaves; the kick is not in the wav.
keys: space plays, D throws in this mode, L is more like this, Z and X step back and forward, E saves the wav.
