DRAW·77

No knobs for the sound here. A hit is three lines and you draw all three: one cycle of the wave, where the note is at each moment, and how loud it is there. Yes, that is enough for a kick: a round wave, a note that drops fast at the left edge, a loudness that dies to the right. Open KICK and bend any of the three.

One cycle of the tone, repeated as fast as the note says. Round is soft, corners are bright, anything lopsided growls.

The note from the first moment of the hit on the left to its end on the right. High on the pad is a high note. A kick starts high and is at the bottom within a finger's width.

The loudness from the start of the hit to its end. Flat on top is a wall, a slope is a tail, a dip is a gap you will hear.
