SKVOT Debut
Debut set in Kazakhstan. SKVOT Club, Astana.
International lineup with @gwenjiku.crtn from Hong Kong. Local support from @na.harraktere and @adilzhan.pllt.
Played 02:00–04:00. Two hours of acid, hard/industrial techno.
Was nervous before going on. Not the “I can’t do this” kind, more like “don’t mess up the transitions” kind. Prepared the set carefully, tried to balance energy and flow without overthinking it.
Once I started, the nerves settled. The crowd was into it. Dark room, loud system, people moving. Felt good to finally play in front of a proper audience after so much preparation.
First time playing in Kazakhstan. First time playing alongside international artists. Felt like a real step forward, not just another practice session in a bedroom.
The set worked. Nothing revolutionary, just solid industrial techno that fit the moment. That’s enough for a debut.
Special thanks to @islambayramov_ who forced me to speak with the club management about performing. Without that push, this wouldn’t have happened.
