my PX exports kept coming out soft. the 3d renders and the text suffered most. so i wanted an upscaler in the same spirit as everything else here: no server, nothing uploaded, the picture never leaves the browser.
three engines. RESAMPLE is the plain canvas stretch. SHADER is the classic math on the gpu (lanczos, mitchell, xbr for pixel art) and it’s fast enough to play video live. NEURAL runs real networks inside the tab. only the smallest one, 4.6 mb, loads by itself, so nobody sits waiting for a download they didn’t ask for.
first test: one photo with a lot of fine detail. every model made it worse. this laptop has no gpu, so the heavy networks crawl and i couldn’t judge them properly.
it stayed on the shelf. you can bake a result and upscale it again on top. i’m not calling it a miracle. try it on your own picture before you trust it.
