i keep a private vault. everything lands there through a telegram bot: voice notes, links, half-formed thoughts, whatever i mumble into the phone while walking. that part works fine. this site sits still for a month at a time, because moving something from the vault to here means rewriting it, tagging it, committing it. even asking an ai to do it means opening a thing and explaining myself, and i never feel like it.

so i wired the two together. the vault knows about this repo now. one script lists what’s publishable, only thoughts and links, work notes and personal stuff filtered out by tag before i ever see the list. another one takes a note, writes the post file, runs hugo, checks the page actually got built, commits and pushes. netlify does the rest.

the bit i like is boring. the fate of every note lives in the note itself, publication: <url> if it went out, publication: declined if i said no. nothing to keep in sync, and the same thought never gets pitched at me twice.

once a week the analyst that already walks the vault drops one line into its sunday digest, something like this one would make a post, want it. i say yes in telegram and it’s live in a minute.
