voice typing note. people kept telling me to put gigaam v3 from sber into handy, it benchmarks best for russian. tried it. parakeet tdt 0.6b v3 is still noticeably better for me, especially when english words show up inside russian sentences, which for me is every second sentence.

the example that settled it: gigaam hears python and types piton. parakeet types python.

parakeet is 705 mb against gigaam’s 151 and i don’t care. when the text comes out right the first time, voice input beats typing. when i have to clean up after it, the whole advantage is gone.

maybe handy ships a cut down gigaam, no idea. benchmarks said one thing, my own mumbling said another.
