he walked me through how the course works: 16 lessons, 2 months, 2 times a week. we’ll go through kicks, percussion, hats, scenes, live transitions, fx rack — step by step building an actual hybrid live set. that’s the final: a real performance.

he showed me his live in ableton. how scenes switch, how to keep levels from jumping when you move between them, how to think about frequencies not as mixing but as sound design from the start. a lot of things clicked that i was doing wrong without knowing.
